A trip down memory lane
This section of HOOLYWOOD has taken me many months to piece together, but I feel it has been well worth the wait folks
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would
have ended up showcasing this beautiful city of ours, but as a proud Dundonian who has lived here all his life (45 years) I decided to put together a few classic
old photographs and video's, some of which have never been seen by the general public, and share them not only to my fellow inhabitants but to a worldwide audience.
The older generation in particular will love some of the stuff I have managed to track down because they will have many fond memories and may indeed have witnessed how
much The City Of Discovery has changed over the years. I really do hope the younger generation out there take time out to watch some of the films I have uploaded and get
a 'real taste' of how tough life was back then in what my Granny Hooly used to call the 'Good Old Days'.

Finally, if anyone reading this has any footage of Dundee Throughout The Years, hidden away in a cupboard or stored in an old shoebox that they would like to showcase on HOOLYWOOD, then please do not hesitate to contact me. It doesn't matter if it's from 19 oatcake or filmed yesterday, black and white or colour If it's good enough for Wullie Spielberg it will go straight into Tinsel Town and broadcast around the world. Right folks, sit doon wi a cuppa tea and a sticky bun! Greeting's fellow Dundonians from around the world, and weclome to this section of hoolywoodproductions.com which is my favourite page of this unique website. This is where the older generation from Dundee who still have all their marbles, and those who fled to warmer climates or just buggered off years ago down south, can sit down with a cuppa tea and a sticky bun and marvel at some of the Old Dundee footage - most of which is in black and white.

Some clips have been sourced from the wibbly wobbly web but there is quite a few I have 'traced/borrowed' from a few old friends as well as my other contacts from far and wide. Some of these clips have never been seen before in public, so it gives me great pleasure to showcase them to not only the fine citizens of Bonnie Dundee, but to ex-patriots who now live abroad, all around the world. Some of the videos and photographs that I have uploaded for your pleasure date way back to the late 1800's, so now is the time and the place to sit back and enjoy a wee trip down memory lane and see for yourself the changing face of Dundee throughout the years ENJOY FOLKS!
